The importance of public management education has increased immensely with the growing realization of making the public sector capable of discharging quality services. In view of this realization, people having rich experiences of Nepalese public sector management and sound academic background, dedicated to contribute and share the experiences of the field have come together with the objective of supporting and fulfilling the felt need for quality public management education in Nepal.

  • The curriculum of Master of Public Administration program consists of three distinct course components: Core Courses, Capstone Courses and Specialization Courses.
  • Internship, oriented towards imparting knowledge and skills in administrative practices and procedures.
  • Computer course to make the students aware of the use of computer in administration.

Students, applying for admission to Master of Public Administration must have successfully completed a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any Institute or University recognized by Purbanchal University.

Applicants for MPA program are required to appear in an entrance test (Written / Oral) .The entrance test will cover the following areas:

  • Verbal ability
  • Quantitative ability
  • Logical reasoning
  • Short essay
  • Administrative and general awareness

A student’s performance will be evaluated in two phases: Internal and External. Internal evaluation will be in the form of in-semester assessment and the external evaluation will be in the form of semester-end examination. The final grade will be determined on the basis of overall performance in both the evaluations.
